By accessing and using DocuHero's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

DocuHero provides voice-to-text transcription and documentation services for healthcare professionals. Our platform uses artificial intelligence to convert spoken notes into structured, compliant documentation for various healthcare settings.

3. User Accounts

To use DocuHero, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. HIPAA Compliance & Healthcare Data

DocuHero is designed to be HIPAA compliant for handling Protected Health Information (PHI). You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of DocuHero complies with HIPAA and other applicable regulations
  • A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required for handling PHI and will be provided upon request
  • You must use appropriate security measures when accessing the service
  • You are responsible for obtaining necessary patient consents and authorizations

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Use the service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the service without written permission

6. Subscription and Payment

DocuHero offers subscription-based pricing. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data according to your subscription plan and applicable legal requirements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at legal@docuhero.io. Data deletion is subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Intellectual Property

DocuHero and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DocuHero LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your healthcare data and documentation created using our service.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. DocuHero LLC does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all documentation before submission or use in patient care.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuHero LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. DocuHero LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia.
